Originally from Philadelphia, Maia discovered the world of dance at age three. She is a graduate of Goucher College, having earned a BA in Dance and Arts Administration. In 2016, she attended the Accademia dell’Arte in Arezzo, Italy where she worked with world-class teachers and dancers.Maia has had the great pleasure to train with and perform in original works by choreographers and teachers like Milton Myers, Christian von Howard, Matthew Neenan, Sidra Bell, James Kinney, and Lizz Picini. She has also performed in roles in musicals such as How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying, Hairspray, The Sound of Music, and West Side Story.
Maia has been a member of Gin Dance Company since 2019.
