Taylor began her dance training in Cleveland, Ohio with the Cleveland Ballet. She trained in many styles such as Ballet, Modern, Flamenco, and Character dance. She was a part of the Cleveland Ballet Youth Company before moving to Atlanta, Georgia in 2015. In Georgia, she continued her training at the Georgia Metropolitan Dance Conservatory under Ashleigh Whitworth.
Taylor graduated from Kennesaw State University where she studied Dance and Russian. She graduated in May of 2020 with a BA in Dance with a ballet concentration. She was a member of the Kennesaw State University Dance Company where she performed in works by choreographers Jimmy Orrante, Ivan Pulinkala, and James Graham. Taylor was a student officer for several dance organizations in college including Nu Delta Alpha, the National Honors Society for Dance Arts, the National Dance Education Organization, and the Student Dance Collective. While at Kennesaw State, Taylor worked as a dance instructor at the Spirit of Dance in Marietta, Georgia.
In 2021, she moved to Annapolis, Maryland to dance at the Ballet Theatre of Maryland, performing in their productions of Gisselle, The Nutcracker, Momentum, and Coppelia. Taylor is currently on faculty at Severna Park Middle School as a dance instructor. Taylor has been a member of Gin Dance Company since July 2022.
