2013 Remembrance Cabaret in Honor of Reema Samaha

Simply BachGDC is pleased to have been invited to perform at The Angel Fund’s 2013 Remembrance Cabaret in honor of Reema Samaha at 7pm at Westfield High School on June 15. Reema was killed in the Virginia Tech shooting in 2007. The event will help raise funds for The Angel Fund which is helping the community that takes action against bullying, addiction, depression and suicide through education, programs and advocacy (http://www.angelfundva.org/). This event will also help raise funds for the Reema J. Every Second Onstage is a Gift

“Enjoy every moment. Every second onstage is a gift, and though that moment in time will pass, you can choose to remember the incredible way it made you feel, and no one can ever take that away.” Courtney Elizabeth – Soloist at San Francisco Ballet

So Touched by Jim…

Core8We’re so touched by the letter we received from someone who attended our performance on Saturday evening…”I was able to see the Spring Concert this past Saturday night. “The Core,” was absolutely the highlight. What a brilliant, gripping piece!

Candy described it best: “mesmerizing.” I came away still thinking about the fluidity and energy of the piece and the moving and poignant way you explore relationships. From our own center we reach out to others, and indeed, are connected.

Thank you for a great gift. I have such admiration for all your work and look forward to seeing more.

Your company is splendid, and it was such a pleasure to see you dance. – Jim”

Thank you Jim, for the wonderful feedback.

Thank You, My Dear Friend!

Notes on Springsping8‘Notes on Spring’, what a fun, sweet, elegant, and delightful dance choreographed by a very closed friend of mine, Constance Walsh.  I was so fortunate to work with her and a group of young and talented dancers from BalletNova.  It was the closing for BalletNova’s ‘Swan Lake Act II & Other works’ production last weekend.  What a perfect way to end the show!   spring5 spring1 spring7 spring2 spring3 spring4 spring9
