Today is Chinese Lantern/Moon Festival! It’s the holiday that people are enjoying gathering together with their family and friends. Many family would like to BBQ outside and enjoy the full moon. Moon cakes are the traditional deserts for this holiday. There are so many different flavors. So delicious!! Wish you all a happy day and may all wonderful things come on your way.

- Gin Dance Company is proud to be a featured performer at the 2013 Reston Multicultural Festival. The Festival is a celebration of the diversity and community spirit that is found in Reston. This annual event brings together the people of Reston to celebrate our rich medley of cultures. Come and share with family, friends, and neighbors the music, entertainment, dress, food, and cultural treasures from all over the world that are all right here. This signature Reston event honors the diversity that is one of our greatest assets. Everyone is encouraged to dress in attire from their own cultural roots and share the stories that we gather on the pathways of our lives.

September 14, 2013, a very special evening for all of us. Gin Dance Company presented ‘A Night With Gin’ at the CenterStage in Reston. This performance was a great success. We were thrilled and touched to receive so many wonderful kind words. We’d like to send a big thank you to our beautiful dancers for doing such a stunning performance, our special guest emcee Surae Chinn from WUSA9 News for doing such an incredible job, our dedicated GDC Board of Directors, and mostly to our amazing Executive Director Gary Cuff. Of course, we never forget our awesome fans… We truly are so thankful for those who were there and shared the evening with us!! You make us feel so special. Thank you!!

Here are the directions and parking information for the CenterStage at the Reston Community Center, Hunters Woods, 2310 Colts Neck Road, Reston, VA 20191 (Note, You can’t see the theater from the street and GPS’s don’t direct you into the correct park lot, so please take these directions with you).
From I495 (the Beltway)
Take 267 W (the Dulles Toll Rd.)
Take Exit 12 (Reston Pkwy)
Go South on Reston Pkwy
Turn left on Southlakes Dr.
Turn Right on Colts Neck Rd.
Go 1/8 of mile to the village at Hunters Woods on left (Safeway Shopping Center)
Park at the shopping center and the CenterStage entrance is behind Ledo’s Pizza.
