What a pleasure it’s been working with such wonderful artists… Gin Dancers. Their incredible talent and spirit inspire me so much. This past week GDC, as a guest performing company, shared the stage with BalletNova Center for Dance. So many wonderful Gin fans came out and supported us. A big Thank You to you all!!! At the performance, the preview of our new piece, “Simply Bach”, received an incredible response from the audience … Touching us, and making all the hard work worth while. Now we’re back in studio working hard, continuing to create more beautiful works to fulfill our mission-Enriching Lives through Dance.
GDC’s 2012 Company Audition

Gin Dance Company (GDC) is a contemporary repertory dance company based in the Northern Virginia/DC Metropolitan area. GDC was formed in May, 2011. We are very excited for our first season and are seeking both male and female artists who have a wonderful talent and passion for dance/performing arts.
Audition will include a full ballet technique class and learning movement phrases from GDC’s current repertory. Finalists will be interviewed following the audition.
Audition fees are not required.
Please bring the following to the audition: Resume (include email and phone contact information) and headshot.
We are looking for the dancers who have a strong background in ballet and modern technique along with performance experience. Professional experience is preferred but not required. Dancers must be able to rehearse at BalletNova Center for Dance on Tuesday and Thursday evenings and some weekends, as needed. At this time, dancers are compensated for GDC’s full evening productions only. Dancers must be a U.S. citizen or have a valid work visa that allows him/her to work for at least two years to be considered.
