Simply Beautiful!
A friend of mine, Iping Su
who is a beautiful dancer with Cloud Gate Dance Theater took this picture while she was touring in Moscow… It’s amazing how simple things can bring out such beauty… even with Evian water bottle. With the sun shines in on the rose and through this wooden frame window… and with the city in the background… It’s all somehow makes it a perfect picture. Love it!!
Storm is Coming!

We’re so thrilled for receiving the nominations in Dance Metro DC award!! ‘The Core’ has been nominated for three categories Outstanding Choreography (Shu-Chen Cuff), Group, and Individual (Shu-Chen Cuff) Performance. ‘Simply Bach’ for Outstanding Group Performance. ‘Dear Mr. Cooper’ for Outstanding Choreography (Shu-Chen Cuff). GDC’s ‘Deep eMotion’ at the Kennedy Center for Outstanding Overall production.
A Memorable Evening at The Kennedy Center
Tonight’s Ballet Across America’s program was featured Sir Frederick Ashton’s ‘Les Patineurs‘ by The Sarasota Ballet, Edwaard Liang’s ‘Wunderland‘ by The Washington Ballet, and George Balanchine’s ‘The Four Temperaments‘ by Pennsylvania Ballet. All three companies performed incredibly. However, the real treat for me was seeing Ellen Overstreet’s, alumna of BalletNova Center for Dance, stunning performance with Sarasota Ballet. Ellen, thank you for your beautiful dancing and bringing the BalletNova family all together tonight.
