It was a real pleasure to teach the Master classes at Russell School of Ballet today, February 9. The talented and beautiful dancers were enthusiastic learners. I always enjoy so much working with up and coming talents.

Gin Dance Company (GDC) will be performing and having behind the scenes open discussions with the Artists and Artistic Director/Choreographer Shu-Chen Cuff from 11:00-4:00 p.m. on October 20. We’ll also have story times with children… Further, Barnes & Noble will generously donate a portion of all sales (including purchases at the Cafe’) made to help GDC fund future Performing Arts productions. So please come out and get a head start on your Holiday Shopping … You’ll be supporting the Arts with your B & N purchases when you mention “Gin Dance” at the registers!

2012 Reston Multicultural Festival, SUCCESS!!

This past Saturday September 22, 2012 we were excited to bring two very different dances to the 2012 Reston Multicultural Festival; ‘The Core’, a piece heavily presented with Eastern philosophy and movement influenced by Choreographer Shu-Chen Cuff’s rich Asian Dance heritage (Shu-Chen is originally from Taiwan); and ‘Simply Bach’, in which Shu-Chen explores the Ballet technique blended with Asian Dance movements.
